funny the ole austin guru m37 mechanic i have mentioned before claimed

that the tracta was a better joint in that it ran longer as they originally went from 7000 s or so to 15000 s allowable tolerance, but the bendix could be stronger who knows

he also claimed that the reason the military did not use front hubs is that it wore out the driveshafts before their time
