You can find others that own trucks of this vintage at the Web Site below. That truck most likely had a NP 435 transmission and a NP 201 transfer case with a DANA 44 closed knuckle front axel and a DANA 60 rear. With that engine, gear ratios would have been 4.10 or 4.88. There should be a metal door tag on the drivers side door post, near the latch, with most of this information. There also should be a tag on the differential inspection covers with the ratio information. However some mechanics (back yard variety) get lazy when reinstalling these covers and do not always put the tag back.
