I had all of the parts on my M-37 dipped. It does a wonderful job, but:

1. Dissassemble your bed, to minimize crevices where the chemicals can sit. It sounds if you have already done this. For your purposes dipping is probably the best option. Have good primer ready for when you get the pieces back. After cleaning them with water prime them immediately, or you will be cleaning rust. I really like DP501 2-part epoxy primer.

2. I would recommend having a cab bead blasted as I still find places where I need to touch up where chemical could sit. And we did a good job cleaning.
