All that info should be on a data plate rivited to the glove box..... it may have been painted over and hard to read...... the manufacturing date and contract number should be on a similar smaller plate... same locat1on. But then it may have been removed.
Here at home the vehicle registration is based on the serial number punched on these plates.......it is nice to have one set of license plates and just remove the glove box and move it from truck to truck..... iin fact I have a radio truck with a M 37 glove box plate and no one seems to know the difference. If your plates are missing I might be able to find one complete glove box cover off the 3 spares "paddy" wagon on the farm.... just let me know.
