Congratulations.......

....now all you need is all the radio and antenna gear and you will have a fully operational Canadian Radio truck. To the best of my knowledge they did not exist in that configuration in the USA. The expended metal covers on the side and back door windows were intended for protecting the glass....although they make cleaning the windows a real bitch. All your windows should have, on the inside, canvas roll up blinds for black out operation and the dome lights are red lens. If you do convert to a camper spend some time fixing the Southwind gas heater in the well in front of the back wheel -passenger side..... same as the ambulance. In fact the truck is identical to the ambulance (M43) with the addition of the windows and single back door. By the way there should be a metal 3 steps ladder attached to the inside of the back door and some models carried an extra gerry can on the back side.... driver's side. Keep in mind that loaded up as a camper with extra gas you are pushing 8000 mud bogging pounds.....which on a long downhill run can cause speed that will overrun/speed the engine and throw engine parts. On the plus side you have the 251 engine ..... now if you can find a good winch...... and some front wheel hubs for highway driving...wowee.

Enjoy !!!!!!

BOB C.
