charlie the speed rating for tires is only
when used in the correct application
load & inflation
max load for a 205/5516 is probably about
1100 lbs per tire where a 900-16 is 3000 or
so per tire
a 205/55 16 is a fat vw tire
but as an OLD tire guy I would NEVER mount a pass tire on a truck wheel!! the claymore effect.
one could however have a special set of rims
made up on pw centers like 4x15 tbls & mount
some old tiny vw hoops to roll in and out
same thing they do for MONSTER TRUCKS, race and rally cars.
NOT DRIVE
might be cheaper than cutting the garage
