Why do you think that this forum deals with obsolete vehicles? It's because no one makes a vehicle worth owning any more. Anything old and obsolete is worth while, be it Dodge (got two), GM, Chevy (only one of those), Willys (two), International (coveting my Dad's), Ford, Desoto, etc, etc. Bottom line: brand loyalty is just not practical in a world where everything looks like a jelly bean and is designed to ride like a car. Take your old truck and enjoy it for what it is worth to you. Just like the cars and trucks, the good times are gone. Anyone will sue anybody else if they think they can make a buck. The phrase "blood sucking lawyers" is around for a reason. So long as they aren't trying to suck my blood I count myself lucky and do my best to stay that way.
Additional irony: anyone look at the front end of their WC, M37, or early Power Wagon lately? Aren't those vertical bars there? Maybe when DC gets done with GM they can sue Dodge for using this trait that is only found on Jeeps.
Just my $.02; let them run each other into the ground, I don't care about any of the modern companies anyway.
