1953 m37

I just bought a 1953 m37 that has been setting for 3 yrs, it has 15,000 mi. can anyone tell me what to look for to see if the engine is a 230 or a 251? It needs both front glass and one frame, has a good soft top and seats, the rest of the body is in pretty good shape. thanks mike
