Jesus was a radical who blasphemed the traditions of Judeaism by proclaiming that ANYONE could get into Heaven and that God would FORGIVE you of your sins if you asked such in prayer. The tradition is that those who could trce their bloodline back to Adam via David et al were the only ones allowed into Heaven. All others went into oblivion, since there is no Jewish Hell.

As for His teachings being "liberal", you confuse charity and kindness towards your fellow man with "liberalism". His teachings were quite conservative in their message, mainly about, with God's help, being self sufficient.

Funny how many liberals today deny and even ridicule the teachings of Jesus. And yet some claim He is a liberal?
