Had a little boo boo on my way from home to work this pm. As I was making my way back to the desk after lunch and trying to negotiate my way around the BMWs, Mazdas, Chevys, etc. and other vehicles in the parking lot, my steering wheel broke off. I supppose the welds (the ones near the center of the wheel) got a bit fatigued and the sucker just separated. Had to borrow a cell phone to call the wife and ask for a pipe wrench so I could at least get the beast parked. But, I have noticed that it steers much easier now with the pipe wrench firmly attached to the nut, so I figure, why mess with a good thing?
