I was Wrecker Driver for the 1/94 FA @W.O.Darby in Furth from 76-78. And once towing a 5 ton back from the field. The tow bar broke and I wiped out about 50 ft. of guard rail. It was the warrant officer's fault for having me tow it with out any brakes. I seem to remember towing several vehicles without brakes though. And I never towed anything without being told to do so.
