If that head came with that engine, then it is a 251. The Spitfire was a version of the lazy 6 used in Chrysler Windsor models and some DeSoto's of about 1950 vintage. That head won't fit a 230 but would fit a 265 which is the same basic engine as the 251 with a longer stroke.
