With all other saftey considerations noted I do have one further recomendation. Don't transfer the load through the frame. Go ahead and run your chains up to the winch frame. This will take the load off of the frame and help you to not dammage the frame. I had a friend who was extracting a full-size pick-up from a ditch with a pto winch on a jeep. He ran a chain from his pintle hook back to a tree. When he finished pulling the truck out, he realized that he had twisted his frame. Run one chain to each side of the winch frame. This should keep you from twisting the frame. One other consideration is the use of multiple snatch blocks. Don't allow all three lines to pull on one snatch block. You will overload it so rig carefully and get the h*** out of the way when you are powering in the cable.

Good luck and be careful,
Dan
