I can't help you too much on actual fitment into your WC since I have M37s, but I'd be happy to talk to you about Cummins engines and possible tansmissions.

I've got a Cummins 4BT in a '53M37 with a Ranger Overdrive (.73:1), original transmission, and 4.89 gears.
