I know people like that. In fact, the first PW I tried to buy was sitting next to a house trailer between Albuquerque and Santa Fe.
The truck had been sitting there for years; weeds and trees growing up around it. It was yellow, still had U.S. Navy on the doors and an original looking dump bed on the back. Not a perfect truck but it was relatively complete. There were at least 4 other vehicles on the property all similarly parked.
The lady of the house told me that her husband bought the truck years ago and would NEVER sell it. "He's going to restore it.", she said.
I never went back to see if the truck is still there, but I'm guessing it is...sigh.
The second story is the PW on the corner of Menaul and 6th St. here in Albuquerque. This truck is also pretty complete but the paint is long gone. There is no major cancer but the entire truck has that 'surface rust' look about it.
This truck is not for sale either. I've been told that it is a piece of art and NOT for sale. I have to agree to the art part but I think it would look MUCH better in my garage..err..gallery.
