I recently listed Randy Baker's 1960 wm300 that I bought from him about two years ago. My wife and I drove this truck to our wedding in Yosemite National Park last Oct at Glacier Point where it appeared in some of our wedding photos.
Well the last few days while I was going thru the work of taking care of an out of state buyer, I noticed my wife becoming a little more distant each day but being so busy I didn't get a chance to talk about the issue until tonight.
You need to know this gal can double clutch the Dodge better than most men and it is rare when I get a chance to drive "my" truck because she has the keys in her hand before I even get out the door.
It turns out that she doesn't want to sell "her" truck and feels since we got married in it and took it on our Honeymoon that it is part of the family and it has sentimental value that shouldn't be sold to a stranger. She was looking forward to taking it to Hollister along with the wedding album to show our Dodge family there.
So long story short, I have the Classic Car inspector coming tomorrow and I will be at work so I asked her to drive it for them and show them the truck and with a look in her eye she told me they just might not find the truck when they get here and not to worry if she isn't home when I get off work she will send a postcard in a day or two telling me where she went with her truck.
Never had any woman love a Dodge Power Wagon like that
