I would measure what length belt you need and go buy new ones. Plus, do you have the original seats or the weapon carrier seats that were placed in the ambulances during the post war rebuilds?
I have owned 3 WC54s and have seen several in the last 25 years. I have never seen one with seat belts, but if you want to add them for safety, I agree with you.
