Well, I was contacted by the curator of the Petersen Automotive museum in LA, CA. They are doing a 6 month display on the pickup truck. He asked if my swivel frame was available for loan until April of next year.
I told him that my truck is not 'museum quality". In fact, I actually use the truck at least once a month and extensively during firewood season because its the only vehicle I have that can get down into where I cut wood without getting stuck.
He said no problem because that is what they are looking for, to show that these vintage trucks are still very much in use to this day. They have 12 pickups that are going to be on display, including one of the very first International "high wheelers". from the turn of the century.
I just got the paperwork in the mail, and its only a couple of pages. But the Petersen is far from a 'fly by night" operation I think. They pay the freight to and from my house and provide insurance.
Maybe I could email you a copy of the agreement and you can see if there are any holes in it?
