I forgot the power wagons were front shackle. I was thinking the 80 dodge that my new axles are out of was rear shackle but I never saw the truck so I could be wrong. Its funny how until I started this project I never really paid any attention to how leaf springs were mounted. I was worried about frame strength mounting the leaves outboard of the frame until I realized all the full size trucks have the leaves outboard of the frame in the rear which is meant to carry more weight.
