The way I interpret it when someone tells me that so and so has "an old weapons carrier" he might want to sell is, "The guy doesn't know what it is and will likely sell it cheap." Usually it's an M37, but the cop who did the Vin check on my WM300 telephone truck was adamant that it was an "army truck" too, so you never really know what they mean. These days, "weapons carrier" is about as vague as "jeep". In general, the more accurate the description, the higher the price.
