whats the dana mark? could you be seeingthe Richmond gear mark? I think Richmond supplied some of the gears. I would say the Chrysler 9 5/8 is way stronger than a spicer 60. 3 massive pinion bearings and a thrust block. but like clueless said the coarse spline axles are the weak point. But spicer 60 axles may not be any stronger as they are usually a bit smaller than the 9 5/8 chrysler axle shaft. so 6 of one 1/2 dozen of the other?
