Up grading to "dual brakes" will be quite a project. I'd just stick to a dual cylinder master cylinder :)
The bushings are actually quite cheap. You can get stock bushings on Ebay.
The pins are the part that's expensive. You might be able to get used pins for a reasonable price from someone on this forum.
I keep checking on Ebay. Occasionally, but not often, new pins come up for sale.
