By then end of the war production of Soviet copies of Jeeps, weapons carriers, 6x6 CCKW trucks, and even B-29s (TU-4) was rolling. It just never stopped, they kept on making the same stuff for decades with only minor changes. A captured WWII BMW motorcycle plant continues to make sidecar motorcycles right out of WWII movies under the Ural name.

Sometimes they made some rather odd things to serve particular demands that did not exist in other countries. My personal favorite is the GAZ 72, which was a Soviet "Victory" sedan set on a 4x4 truck chassis. Unlike the occasional crazy one-off project car here, this was an actual production car in the Soviet Union.
