pits or no pits. a brake cylinder hone inst aggresive enough to reomve any significant amount of material that would require a larger cup. stock sizes are 1 1/4 and 1 3/8
those steel (or Iron) pistons are hard to come by. you lucked out. no aluminum causing electrolysis corrosion. I even put them in brand new cylinders if I have extras.
