I wouldn't mess with them. Not worth it. They are not going to clean up.

If you are not going to give up, there is one other idea (actually) I have a couple) since you can get the pistons to move some. Completely fill the cylinder with fluid. Close the bleed screw and stand the cylinder on end. Drive the upper piston down with a large drift and hammer. Guaranteed that something is going to give.

I only offer this suggestion because you've got me thinking about over-the-top ways to get the pistons out. As I said, buy new ones.

But, how about putting the cylinders back on the truck, but leave the drum off one corner. Then bleed the brakes and use the master cylinder to blow out the piston.

Or, hook the cylinder up to a hydraulic pump, like a Porta Power and crank up the pressure.

Or, put the cylinder in a bucket below ground level and put as much air pressure to the cylinder as you can.

Any other ideas?
