Spacer would have to be almost a quarter inch thick, and would drop the compression ratio to somewhere in the neighborhood of 4 or 5 to 1. Better option would be to use a V8 241 piston with the pin 1/4" higher, thus putting the piston at top of the block. Lighter, as well.
