I had similar problem. Used plastic from light fixture lense and backed up with yellow/amber repair tape. Looks good still after 20 years. You can also get amber glass from stain glass and cut and even grind with a wet wheel a pretty tight shape. The cut shapes could be backed up with another section behind (glued up). Just hard to get that moulded shape.
