Actually, there is some stuff they sell at our local hardware store called "plastic welder", (Devcon, probably) that's a 2-part epoxy but with some strong solvent added, that works very well on almost all plastics. I repaired plastic radiator tank with it and it held for years. Sand the gloss off of any shiny parts, and build a bead on both sides of the break if possible, and I'm sure it will be good. Those kinds of plastic parts are usually ABS, so you also might get by with just gluing the crack with black ABS plumbing glue. Who knows, you could get lucky. PVC is a second possibility, also gluable with plumbing glue. Those sorts of parts usually aren't nylon, because that's too expensive, or polystyrene, because it's too flimsy, although I've seen it. Polyethylne can't be glued with anything, but it's used for tough flexible things that need to be chemical resistant, but don't need to be painted or glued, like gas cans and vacuum-formed parts. I would try the "plastic welder". I've used it on many kinds of plastic and with good prep it's worked well on all.
