did it sit for a while, sometimes the throw out bearing sticks to the input shaft collar. mabey the springs are rusty in the presure plate.. i would try to lubracate that collar with some wd 40 or pb blaster then keep pressing it to see if its getting looser.sometimes the linkage gets rusty or grease gets hard.make sure thats all free of stiffness.if none of that works than give it a tylonal arthritis pill that should loosin her up.
