I still find it frustrating that our Big Three have still not got it together and once again the Japanese and Koreans show us how to do it right the first time. It is not all about the high wages paid out anymore, it is about the almighty profit margin and how to make it as cheap as you can. Then you let your ad campaign people put a spin on how wonderful their junk is and why you the comsumer really need one. My kid owned a 2005 Dodge Cummins which in my mind Dodge should be horse whipped for. Ram tough is a joke, the engine is great, but the rest of the truck in pure unadulterated shit. He just bought a Ford F150 crewcab with the triton and he is happy, but I am not sure how good it will be in the long run. My money is still on GMC, but if that makes me nervous.
The only reason he did not buy Toyota is they are bloody expensive, but maybe in the long run they arent going to be expensive as repairing North American junk.
Pure and simple it is corporate greed, you think we are in economic trouble now, just give it another 10 or so years and lets see where we are unless we all rise up and kick these greedy bastards square in the nut package.
Well, that is my rant for the day....now I better go grab a coffee.
