Lots of good info given. I would like to share this thought.
The only bolts/nuts I reuse are ones that are not in critical areas. Critical fasteners are always replaced with new ones of the proper grade. The reason, you dont know any history on work done on the truck. Some of the critical fasteners may have been yielded when tightened during repairs and the strength is lost. I figure its cheap insurance to know my critical fasteners are up to doing the job. Lock washers are always replaced.
