MacArthur wanted to nuke North Korea, but would we be better off today if he had been allowed to?

I've been reading some pretty interesting things about North Korea lately. For example, they have a big new industrial park set up near the border, like a maquiladora, where South Korean companies hire North Koreans to assemble things, and despite all the bluster from Tantrum Boy, those factories are still running. Also, there is lots of smuggling across the Chinese border, including cell phones, computers, radios, and DVDs that North Koreans are using to find out that their government's been lying to them about the outside world. I think it's just a matter of time before people start crossing the border routinely and North Korean soldiers don't shoot them.

Hopefully, things will open up gradually, and North Koreans will have more opportunity to earn a living in North Korea, because if not, Tantrum Boy might just open the border totally, and let South Korea and China deal with a massive flood of refugees. Or he might do like Castro did and just send all their worst criminals across the border. I don't believe for a minute Tantrum Boy has any sort of nuclear missile, though. The intelligence analysts say that the "missiles" he paraded recently were clearly poor-quality mockups. No two of them even looked the same.
