The old 9.00x16 NDT tires were about 35" in diameter so yes the swampers will be the same diameter as the 9x16's. Getting those Swampers to mount onto such a skinny rim may pose a bit of a problem. I assume based on your current 7.00x16 tire that you have the 6x16 rim which is awfully skinny for a 12.5" wide tire.
