Is your frame bent? Set the cab as best a possible. Then try adjusting the radiator support rods. Set their length to be equal with the radiator lower bolt loose. Once adjusted tighten the lower bolt. You may have to adjust it several times to get it right. I would not expect the hood gaps to be perfect. They never were. You can do final adjustments with the hood on. Remember the hood can slide around a little.

Also check the hood. It may not be straight. If the center hinge is loose or bent it will affect the gaps.

Do not make the gaps really tight as the hood will bang and chip the paint on the cab or radiator. This happens due to the frame and or body flexing. I have flexed my truck so that the starter peddle missed the starter button. It was not fun as I was trying to turn around on a narrow mountain and I killed the engine. I had to hand start it by pushing the starter button. It was also really difficult to get the hood open due to the flex.
