Did you check out the surface on the yoke that goes into the seal of the rear pinion? If it is worn, rusted, pitted, etc. a new seal will not fix the leak. You might be able to install a speedy sleeve on the yoke and solve your leak problem. The speedy sleeve will create a smooth surface for the seal to ride on and the seal will then work as it should.
