contact the local machinests union hall and see if they know of any retired mechanics who
might be able to help you
or the local high school shop instructor as they will usually know of some "old timers"
the technology on these trucks is no longer taught in schools
the text book i have and do recommend is
"automotive mechanics" by william crouse as
it was used to teach "Auto Shop" and is very
easy to follow
