Permatex generally shouldn't be used on brake systems. Their are many Permatex products. Read the label and follow their recommendations. They know best.
You really only need enough pressure to get the fluid to flow well when you open the adjuster. I guess, if you thought you were having a problem with trapped air, you might use more pressure on some difficult to bleed systems. But, I haven't noticed any particular problem on FFPW's.
