I did my whole bed, removing all the stake pockets from two sets of beds with the first style you mentioned, worked excellent for me..... only used two cutter heads, and there were millions of spot welds on the pockets. It was like the guy weldin the pockets on was new and was havin a blast with the spot welder. lol
