I remember the first time i saw a Dodge Power Wagon, I was 11 years old riding through seminole texas. I couldn't believe my eyes, it was the coolest looking think i had ever seen. I became obsessed with them. I bought my first one when i was 14 Which i drove all though high school and my first part of college. What i love about these trucks is the way they look. I care very little about off-road i just like to look at them and drive them. I love the idea of a time when the world didn't move so fast people didn't text at restaurants, watch tv in the car, kids went out to play instead of playing video games 5 hours a day. My generation cares very little about how things work and couldnt imagine driving a truck with no air conditioning, radio and automatic transmission. Don't get me wrong i like these amenities in my daily Driver but other days i want to rough it a little bit. My friends love me but don't understand why i love these clunker trucks, but then again they don't care for much of anything besides drinking, networking with people, and having the best of everything. Its really funny the reactions i get from people when I role up in my power wagon at a birthday party or Starbucks because for my generation its not cool to drive something 50 to 60 years old, older guys love it. Just goes to show how much things of changed. Im 26 and can say for certain that my generation has no natural curiosity about how things work or engineering marvels. I just find it really interesting that men are no longer men, they are "Girly men"in the words of arnold Schwarzennegger. most of them couldn't even change a flat tire lol
