But that solenoid is correct for that year PW with 12 volt system.
He is not wiring it correctly by not paying attention to the terminal locations and obviously has no idea how to follow a diagram.
We all had to learn and some learn faster,better than others.
Some never get it.
The 65 diagram is basically the same as 68 with a few minor changes.
Back up lights,dual brake warning light etc.
