Yes, M37 and 3/4 ton combat wheels will fit a 1/2 ton WC. Look for Dodge WC12 on Photobucket and my WC12 has both types of wheels.
Note a 9x16 tire circumfrance is approx. 20% bigger than a stock 7.50x16, so your speedometer, odometer, and fuel economy will be off by that pecentage with 4.89 differentials. None of which I found objectionable.
