OT anyone replaced a PS pump on an '01

My power steering pump is going out on my '01 3500 with a Cummins. Just wondering if anyone has replaced theirs and if they had any tips. It wants to foam the fluid and growl like it's cavitating. 235,000 miles on the truck so maybe it's due? TIA
