The tubing flares and fittings sometimes have small cracks or imperfection.
The master cylinder is difficult to see and the shield underneath can conceal drips.
Since this is the second master cylinder you put in, try changing the brass tubing adapter on the front of the master cylinder. That worked for me.
Leaking fluid from the front can travel along the master cylinder to look like it's coming from the rear.
