On my WC63 when I cross a ditch the rear bogie suspension really rotates quite a lot on the pivot. The rear rear axle I believe is pitched upwards at a steeper pinion angle because when it it in the full down position the driveshaft yokes are very close to binding. I think if the axle pinion line was any flatter the yoke on the driveshaft and pinion shaft would bind. Lift the rear and front rear axles independantly with a jack and observe the motion. I think you will be very surprised how much the axles rotate. My truck has about 2" more lift in the rear from new springs but this may be the reason why the yokes get so close. The bump stops on the frame need to be installed as well to limit this axle travel. Terry
