It involved a long time western forum member here if I remember right.
Pretty sure he survived with bumps and bruises.
Can't remember his name. Maybe someone here will?
Definitely something to think about.
But for me I'm a believer that when it's your time nothing else matters.
No belts,air bag,crush zones,cages,etc. will make a difference.
40 years ago I was in a serious accident with a Large full size "lead sled" of the day and a 3 foot oak tree.
If I had my belts on that night, I would not be writing this now.
I fell onto the floor as the steering column,dash and front seat were being pushed into the rear seat.
Also growing up in the towing business I have seen it both ways.
