This looks like a good deal at first glance. But, if this truck is too rusty in the frame and sheet metal to easily restore (I can see rust through in the corner of the cab) it will be good for parts only.

By the time you go through the cost and effort of getting this truck and tearing it down, the value of the parts will not be worth the cost. Then you have to find people who want the parts. It's not that easy to sell most parts. Axles anyone?

In flying, we refer to situations that look good at first, but turn to crap once you get into them as, "sucker holes".

The truck from a veteran FFPW collector that sold last week on Ebay for $3,800 is an example of a good buy. It was a reportedly rust free, running, driving, stopping and complete truck.
