I wanted to convert my Model A to 4WD, but I don't think that would make it any more capable. The extra wieght and power drain, would probably be a hinderance. It goes just about anywhere. With tire chains, it will go through mud until the updraft carburetor is in the water. It will climb hills until fuel no longer flows by gravity to the carburetor.
