Couldn't find much in the archives. I bought a new set of bushings for the t-case selector levers but the mounting bracket shaft is also worn enough that I still have a lot of slop. What have others done to repair the shaft?

Welding the metal back would work but not sure how you remove the excess to get it back to the correct size.

Worst case I could cut and drill it out and have a new one machined and welded in but that's the extreme end.

This is for the early lever mount.
