i use yellow tops in my gas trucks and a blue marine in my command car for the marine style top lugs. they all have plenty of starting power and they both give me the reserve power needed to run accessories. unless you are running a combiner / isolator like a boat that has a house and start battery, you should pick the same type. i replaced the stock batteries in my megacab with dodge dealer supplied batteries. their price and warranty was a good value relative to what the optimas would have cost.
