I don't recall any plastic components in the pressure plate or disk from when I installed mine. Give a call to Jens over at VPW or John at Midwest Military and get their opinions. I would, in the mean time, gather all my receipts and other paperwork connected with the work and be prepared to have them overhaul the clutch which means pulling the tranny.
